Katie Jackson, M.D., has worked in health care since 2012. “With pediatrics, instead of focusing on a specific body part or system, I care for patients as whole people,” she said.
Dr. Jackson’s goal is to empower parents and children to live with joy and peace. She chose a career in pediatrics because it allows her to use her skillset to help children. “I’ve never found any other profession that so fully allows me to use my talents to love on God's creation,” she said.
Dr. Jackson emphasizes the importance of setting individualized goals. “Getting and staying healthy is a choice you must make for yourself,” she said. “Parents and caregivers can support children with that choice by helping them form good habits.”
Dr. Jackson received a Bachelor of Science degree from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 2007. She earned a medical degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee in 2012. She completed a pediatric residency at Texas A&M, Scott and White Hospitals in Temple, Texas in 2015. Prior to joining Utica Park Clinic, Dr. Jackson worked at St. Francis Health System.
When she is away from the office, Dr. Jackson enjoys reading, taking nature walks and spending time with her family.

Dr. Jackson is the best pediatrician in Claremore! She is knowledgeable, listens and communicates well and returns calls. I didn't know that we had a very good local Dr. in town until we met Dr. Katie Jackson! Her nurse Britanny (not sure if I spelled her name correctly) is also the best! She is very friendly and very helpful!
