About Emily Taylor, APRN-CNP
After several years of being an elementary education teacher and enduring many hardships, Emily decided to change careers to become a nurse. “I lost my stepsister when I was 13, had an unplanned pregnancy at 20 and lost my best friend at 27. During those challenging times, I witnessed firsthand the compassion and skill that it takes to provide care to people during their most vulnerable times and it inspired me to pursue a career in nursing,” she said.
Now, after years of experience and education, she likes to teach patients about their health by focusing on preventive and holistic care. “I know not everyone looks forward to their pap smear or talking about personal issues. My goal is that you leave feeling comfortable and empowered to take control of your health,” she said.
“My favorite piece of advice to give women is how much we need nature. Being in nature benefits your emotional, mental and physical wellbeing so get outside and soak up some vitamin N (nature),” Emily said.
Outside of working at the clinic, Emily enjoys spending time with her wife, three children and their dog. She also likes to go hiking, play sports, take care of her house plants and all things related to American history, especially the American Revolution.

Emily Taylor APRN is an excellent provider, I'm so thankful I found her! She listened to my concerns, knew exactly what the issue was and provided a treatment plan. She is so much better than the OB/GYN I saw a few years ago. So much so that I will actually start taking care of my gynecological needs with Ms. Taylor. She went above and beyond to help me, listen to me, have compassion for me and not shame me. I'm so impressed with Emily Taylor APRN, I will recommend her to all my friends and anyone who asks. They are the absolute best Obgyn team I've ever visited and that's saying something. Emily was the first Dr I've had that listened and ran the tests needed until she figured out my condition. The world need more people like her and her team in the medical field. She is a rare treasure. She doesn't just look at you as a statistic, She cares for the individual person and does her job in the most comforting personable manner.
