About Aaron McGuire, D.O.
When treating you, Dr. McGuire will take your lifestyle into account. “I believe in caring for you the same way I would a family member,” he said. “I will discuss the rationale behind my recommendations so that you are engaged in your treatment and understand how to address your condition within the overall framework of your life.”
When teaching people how to get and stay healthy, Dr. McGuire has two pieces of advice. “The first is that you need to start where ever you are,” he said. “If that is little activity or a diet that needs to be adjusted, that’s okay but your idea of what you can accomplish in the short term has to be something concrete and achievable.”
“The second is, be it diet or exercise, it only works if you do it. There are numerous approaches that can lead to health and fitness improvements but they must be engaged with in order to be successful.”
When he is away from the office, Dr. McGuire enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, reading and following collegiate sports.

Dr McGuire is the most caring, kind hearted, and compassionate doctor I have ever had! He takes the time to thoroughly listen and doesn't rush his exams. Even when there is bad news to be told, he does this with such a demeanor that you don't realize it's bad. His care and compassion mean the world to me! Very intelligent doctor as well.
