It didn't take long before she found her calling. “Before becoming a PA, I shadowed one in urology. It was my first experience with the profession and I loved it,” McKenzie said.
She is a natural in a health care setting. “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others,” she said. “I often tell my patients that the first step towards getting healthy is having an open mind and the willingness to try new things.”
McKenzie’s hobbies and interests outside of working at the clinic include triathlon training and spending time with her husband and dogs.

Dr. McKenzie was great. She listened, gave me her professional opinions, and advice. Very compassionate toward my situation and explained things to where I felt better about what was going on. She gave me peace of mind and I feel she was very concerned about my situation and was going to do everything she possible could to getting me out of pain and well again.
