About Shantel Bolton, APRN-CNP
She chose to practice family medicine because of the variety of patients and diseases she gets to care for each day.
When it comes to her patients and building relationships, she makes it a point to listen to each concern and question by giving them her undivided attention. “I make sure the patient knows that I am listening and cares about what they are going through,” she said.
Shantel’s inspiration to become a nurse developed while caring for her mom’s declining health. She said, “I wanted to be able to understand what was going on with her health.”
Now, as a provider, the advice she shares with patients is to, “Always try and be an advocate for your health by working together with your provider.”
Outside of work, Shantel enjoys spending time with her two daughters and grandson and traveling.

Ive gotta say, I'm almost 35 years old and I have lived in many different places, Maine, Hawaii, and several areas of Texas and now Oklahoma and Dr. Bolton is the best PCP I've ever had. Always listens to my issues, finds solutions and goes above and beyond with holistic approaches in conjunction with meds. Ive always dreaded going to the doctors until now. I appreciate her and her team so much!
