Janet Seals, APRN-CNP, practices family medicine and provides care exclusively for the students, faculty and staff at Rogers State University in Claremore. She has an extensive background in health care. “I have been actively involved in the medical field with experience in the pre-hospital, ER and student health settings throughout my career” she said. “Because health care is constantly evolving, I will work with you, taking all aspects of your health into consideration."
Ms. Seals emphasizes that good health can change generational outcomes. “It is often an unseen practice that leads to unhealthy choices,” she said. “Identifying the root cause and assisting a patient in healthy options, like taking a daily walk, can be both a mental and physical modifier leading to a healthier life.”
Ms. Seals received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Rogers State University in Claremore in 2013. She earned a Master of Science degree in nursing from the University of South Alabama in 2019. Prior to joining Utica Park Clinic, she worked at the Alexander Health Center at the University of Tulsa. She is a member of the Association of Oklahoma Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
When she is away from the office, Ms. Seals enjoys spending time outdoors, music events and developing healthy recipes.
