Doctors' Day profile: Jaclyn Duvall inspired at an early age

Jaclyn Duvall, M.D., a headache specialist with Utica Park Clinic, wanted to pursue a career in the medical field at a young age. The source of her inspiration came from somebody near and dear to her heart.

Could It Be Endometriosis?

Endometriosis is a term you may have heard of but may not know much about.

National Endometriosis Month is an initiative to educate people on this disorder in which tissue grows outside of the uterus in abnormal patterns. Symptoms of the disorder include intense pain and menstrual irregularities.

Due to the normalization of menstrual pain, many cases go untreated and undiagnosed.

Nutrition Month: Supplements

In a $30 billion-a-year industry, you can buy a supplement for just about anything. From weight loss pills to collagen powder, there’s something on the market for every deficiency you can imagine, and some you’d never think of. The sheer number of different supplements available today can be overwhelming. While many supplements will be unique to the individual, experts recommend a few for everyone.
