Weera Chainakul, M.D., FACS, has been practicing general surgery in Tulsa since 2011. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Chainakul performs surgical procedures on patients who are five years of age or older and practices all areas of general surgery including minimally invasive/laparoscopic/robotic hernia surgery, gallbladder, small intestine and colon surgery. He is also trained to perform both upper and lower endoscopy including screening colonoscopies.
Dr. Chainakul graduated from Rice University in 2000. He earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center College of Medicine in 2006. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Medicine in 2011.
Dr. Chainakul is married and has six children. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, gardening, cooking, and playing soccer and golf.
