Scott Russell, D.O., practices family medicine and has been in health care since 2018. “My journey into health care started when I was in high school,” he said. “I took a career class that allowed me to shadow doctors in the hospital and in their offices. Ever since that opportunity, I focused my learning on medicine throughout college and medical school.”

Dr. Russell chose to focus on family medicine because it allows him to work with a variety of issues and patients. “I like the opportunity to care for and build trusting relationships with families from every age,” he said. “I appreciate the longevity of these relationships.”

Dr. Russell says there are many aspects that contribute to getting healthy. “I believe in the notion that lifestyle, nutrition and community medicine are essential foundations of preventive health care,” he said.  “Being in primary care puts me in a unique position that can facilitate a life-changing impact.”

Dr. Russell received a Bachelor of Science degree from Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah in 2013. He earned a medical degree from Lincoln Memorial Debusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, Tennessee in 2018. He completed a family medicine residency at Oklahoma State University in Tulsa in 2021.

When he is away from the office, Dr. Russell enjoys playing tennis, going to concerts, rooting for the Utah Jazz, playing basketball, playing ping pong, traveling and trying new foods. He is fluent in Tagalog.

Dr. Russell welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans. His office is located at:

Great staff. Dr. Russell took his time to listen to me and has treated my diabetes well so I can get it under control. He was also able to biopsy my moles and did well injecting my knees to become pain free.
