Patrick Ross, D.O., specializes in general surgery at Utica Park Clinic at Hillcrest Medical Center. His professional areas of interest include robotic and advanced laparoscopic surgery, surgical oncology, colorectal surgery and endocrine surgery.
Dr. Ross’ decision to pursue a career in medicine came from a personal and memorable moment in his life. He said, “Witnessing the excellent care my father received from a surgeon inspired me to the same for others.”
Now, as Dr. Ross works with his patients to help them get on the best path to recovery, he likes to remind everyone to stay positive and to keep the faith throughout your healing process. “It makes a difference,” he said.

• Residency in general surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) in Boston, Massachusetts, a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, 2009
• Doctor of medicine degree at the University of Oklahoma (OU) College of Medicine in Tulsa, 2004
• Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Oklahoma (OU), 2003
• General studies at Tulsa Community College (TCC), 1998
• United States Air Force medical technician training at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, 1996
• United States Air Force medical technician school at Sheppard Air Force Base, 1996
• United States Air Force basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, 1996
Dr. Ross’ awards and major accomplishments include:
• Received the Isaac O. Mehrez, M.D. – Award of Surgical Excellence from Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, MA, 2007: “Awarded to the resident who exemplifies the ideals of excellence in the care of the surgical patient.”
Outside of work, Dr. Ross enjoys spending time with family, running, playing soccer and cycling.
