Starla Allen, D.O., has practiced family medicine in Oklahoma since 2015.
She partners with each of her patients to optimize the management of their chronic medical conditions. “I’ll equip you with resources and education so that together, we can make good decisions for your health,” she says.
Dr. Allen is particularly skilled in the areas of women’s health and preventive care but welcomes the opportunity to help you with any family medicine concerns. To help you get healthy and stay healthy, she’ll encourage you with a plan of care that is reasonable. “Start small and make changes that are sustainable for the long term,” she says.
Dr. Allen earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah in 2007. She completed a medical degree at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in 2012. She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians.
Dr. Allen chose to practice family medicine because she was drawn to the variety and depth that is unique to primary care. “I have the opportunity to see something different every day and I enjoy learning and growing with my patients over time,” she says.
When she’s away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her family exploring Tulsa.

Dr. Allen always takes the time to listen and take into consideration any concerns or questions I may have as it relates to my healthcare. Dr. Allen is the best physician I have ever had as it relates to communication both in the office and through the patient portal! I have relocated 30 miles from her current office, with a Utica Park Clinic down the road from where I currently live, and I will gladly drive the distance to keep Dr. Allen as my PCP.

I moved to Tulsa 8 years ago and spent 5 years trying to find a Dr I was comfortable with. A couple I didn’t care for and the two I did like left their practices. I have been a patient of Dr. Allen’s for 3 years now and couldn’t be happier. I don’t feel rushed, always feel like she listens to my concerns and I feel very confident in her medical advice. The rest of the staff whether front desk, nurse etc are equally nice so I don’t plan on ever looking elsewhere again.
