Muhammad Shaukat, M.D., practices pulmonary & critical care for Utica Park Clinic (UPC) at Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa. He is board certified in internal medicine and pulmonary disease. Prior to joining UPC, he practiced primary care in Tulsa for four years, then cared for patients at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, MO for 4½ years. In addition to English, he speaks fluent Hindi, Urdi and Punjabi.
Dr. Shaukat earned his medical degree at King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan in 1995. He completed his internal medicine internship and residency at Resurrection-Westlake Hospital in Melrose Park, IL in 2004. He has completed two fellowships:
1. In pulmonary disease at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC in 2015
2. In critical care medicine at Wake Forest University Health Sciences in Winston-Salem, NC in 2016.
He is a member of the American Thoracic Society, the American College of Chest Physicians, the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.
