Lauren Holmes, D.O., specializes in obstetrics and gynecology (OB-GYN) at Utica Park Clinic. Her professional areas of interest include minimally invasive gynecology and robotic surgery, high-risk obstetrical care, comprehensive family planning and health equity.
Dr. Holmes said her decision to specialize in obstetrics and gynecology stems from a blend of passion and fascination with the intricacies of the female body. She adds, “During my medical training, I found myself drawn to the unique challenges and profound rewards of caring for women throughout all stages of their lives. Whether guiding expectant mothers through the miracle of childbirth or providing compassionate care to women facing various reproductive health concerns, I recognized the immense privilege of being a trusted partner in their health care journey.”
When it comes to creating connections with patients, Dr. Holmes said, “Building meaningful relationships with my patients lies at the heart of my practice. Advice that Dr. Holmes enjoys reminding patients about is to prioritize physical and emotional well-being by adopting healthy lifestyle habits such as maintaining a balanced diet, staying physically active, managing stress effectively and getting regular screenings and check-ups. “By taking charge of their health and seeking preventive care, women can empower themselves to lead vibrant and fulfilling lives,” she said.
