Online SchedulingCurrent Patient of Provider
Lacy Reynolds, APRN-CNP, practices pulmonary and critical care for Utica Park Clinic (UPC) at Hillcrest Medical Center. She has provided care for critically ill patients in Tulsa since 2007. Before joining UPC, she was a registered nurse (RN) in the intensive care unit at Saint Francis Hospital.
Lacy’s care philosophy is about more than identifying a problem and suggesting a solution. “It involves working with each patient, his or her family and others to achieve patient-centered goals,” she says.
She became passionate about critical care for personal reasons following her father’s heart surgery and subsequent complications. “I have come to view medicine as not only a science, but an art,” she explains. “A component of that art is the ability to incorporate family into each patient’s care.”
“On a personal level,” Lacy continues, “losing my father at an early age to heart disease is my motivation to stay active and healthy and I encourage my patients to do the same.”
Lacy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing at Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Bartlesville in 2013. She completed a Master of Science degree in adult gerontology acute care at Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri in 2018. She is a member of the American Nursing Association, American Association of Critical Care Nurses, the Oklahoma Nursing Association and the Association of Oklahoma Nurse Practitioners.
Lacy’s personal interests include camping, reading, cooking and working out with kettlebells and she shares these lifestyle routines with others. “Patients are more likely to take advice from health care providers who model healthy behaviors themselves,” she says.
