Dr. Treat did shoulder surgery on the right shoulder for a torn bicep. A couple of years later I had to have surgery for a torn bicep on my left shoulder. Dr. Treat did an excellent job and treated me with respect. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Treat performed a reverse shoulder replacement surgery on me. He is without a doubt one of the best surgens in the state if not the nation. It has been 6 weeks and my recovery is going so well. I had successful carpal tunnel surgery in July 2022. Three months later I ruptured a ligament in this same wrist. Saw Dr. Treat for extreme pain and he diagnosed the ruptured ligament. Scheduled surgery for this wrist and had Proximal row carpectomy done. I am 7 weeks out and cast removed. Pain free and starting PT soon. Dr. Treat is thorough and caring. He explained things in layman terms so that I understood the procedure being done. Although I hope that I don't require more surgeries of this type, I would not hesitate to enlist Dr. Treat's expertise if needed. Also, his staff has been extremely helpful with the work related paperwork I have needed them to fill out.

Had reverse total shoulder arthroplasty in late December at Hillcrest main followed by rehab at Hillcrest PT Solutions. Before the surgery Dr. Treat told me that his approach to helping me deal with advanced shoulder arthritis and a completely torn rotator cuff would be the same now as 10 years from now Basically shots or surgery. My call. I talked with a friend who had recent reverse shoulder surgery by Dr. Treat and he was completely happy with the outcome. I chose reverse shoulder surgery instead of having shots forever and now 3 months later I am pain free and have good shoulder range. Shoulder, arms, wrists and hands are Dr. Treats' specialty and he does surgery on his specialties all week long. His physicians assistant John Line helps out during the surgery and for my surgery was "the closer." Bottom line - if you chose surgery pick a surgeon who does the exact same surgery over and over, day after day. The surgeon I recommend who meets that test is Dr. Cris Treat.

I am a 71 year old that had carpal tunnel in both wrists and elbows (cubital tunnel). Dr. Treat performed laparoscopic surgery on both wrists and elbows, all at the same time. This procedure was far less invasive than the traditional style procedure and the healing time is mush shorter. Follow up care was provided as it should have been and I have minimal scaring for two surgeries in the exactly the same place. Thank you, Dr. Christopher Treat for giving me the use of my shoulder back!! I saw Dr. Treat about two years ago when I reinjured my shoulder. The original injury was from a vehicle accident in July 1978. Dr. Treat was conservative in his approach to treating my shoulder saying, "You will tell me when it is time for surgery." He treated the condition with injections twice several months apart. In early December 2020, I told him I was ready for surgery; and, he did the surgery on December 15, 2020. He did a reverse shoulder joint replacement; and, I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I have been diligent with the exercises; and, I had rehabilitation for three weeks. Yesterday, I thought it was time to give my new shoulder a practical test. I replaced the tensioner pully on my riding lawn mower which required briefly using my 3/8" air impact gun. Carefully, of course. My new shoulder performed perfectly. Yes, I can afford to have my lawn mowed; but, then what would I do?

When my 83 year old mother fell and broke both wrists, we were blessed to find Dr Treat at Hillcrest South. His encouraging demeanor instantly put us both at ease in a very stressful situation. He performed surgery on both wrists the very next day, when we were expecting to have to wait for the weekend to pass. One wrist was a very complicated repair, but Dr. Treat's staff kept me informed throughout the procedure. She is two weeks out, and is recovering beautifully with very little pain. Dr. Treat is truly the best! Another doctor did elbow surgery on me and when I woke up from that surgery, my hand would not work. That same doctor proceeded to tell me on multiple occasions that my hand would never work again. But he wouldn't/couldn't tell me why...so when I went to Dr. Treat I was desperate to get my hand fixed. I'm only 40 and that is too young to lose function of your hand for no good reason. Dr. Treat was very reassuring and honest with me. Took me to surgery soon after my first consult. Woke me up during surgery and had me move my hand....IT WORKED!!! Dr. Treat is a very knowledgeable and caring person. He explained what my plan of treatment would be from start to finish. He took his time explaining exactly what he would do and how he would do it and the timeframes involved. His bedside manner is excellent and his staff was competent and caring. The surgery went great. I had open reduction internal fixation right elbow olecranon fracture and closed treatment of radial head fracture. My recovery could not have been any better. It has been 9 weeks and my arm is healed. I have almost full extension of my elbow and very little pain. I would highly recommend him and his staff.

I highly recommend Dr Treat as a surgeon. He immediately recognized the issue I was having which required surgery to correct. He explained thoroughly what was causing the symptoms, and how he recommended a carpal tunnel release surgery to correct. He explained the procedure as well as other options. I had the surgery on both hands at the same time and everything went as he said. I was uncomfortable the first couple of days and have had very little to no pain since. It has been two weeks since operation and still no issues. Dr Treat is friendly, professional, and came across as genuinely caring.

Doc Chris, he is a vary intelligent and knowledgeable Doctor. He had to replace my shoulder with a couple pieces of titanium, that's the 4th time i received some metal in my body. A reverse something to omit the rotor cuff, it was blown apart, he suggested the operation, not knowing what was involved i said ok trusting him holy, a kind man he was. Dr. Treat performed carpal tunnel surgery with a flawless process from the initial visit to the follow-up. I had the procedure done on the other hand about 5 years ago. That procedure was successful, but the recovery was about 5 weeks and involved a large incision on my hand. Dr. Treat’s procedure was simple small and I was able to use my hand the next day (with limited weight and pressure). I have full use in less than 3 weeks. Dr. Treat is also a very personal, pleasant, and professional. Highly recommend!
