Christin Baker-Hankton, D.O., practices family medicine and has been involved in the health care industry since 2011. “I believe the body is capable of self-regulation, self-healing and health maintenance,” she said. “My care philosophy is a team-based (you and I) approach with shared decision making.”
While she is particularly skilled in the areas of women’s health, obesity and geriatrics, she welcomes the opportunity to help you with any family medicine concerns.
“The way to stay healthy is to be proactive,” she says. “See your doctor annually for your preventive screenings. Manage any chronic conditions appropriately with recommended follow up. Finally, routine exercise and a healthy diet is good for everyone.”
Dr. Baker-Hankton earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology at Arkansas State University in 2011. She received a medical degree at the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences in 2017. She completed a family medicine residency at Oklahoma State University Medical Center in 2020. She is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and the American Osteopathic Association.
Awards she earned include:
• Silver Translating Osteopathic Understanding into Community Health Award in 2014 and 2015
• Student Association of American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians National Communications Award in 2014
Her personal interests include traveling, gardening and playing volleyball.
