About Lisa Weilert, APRN-CNP
Lisa Weilert, APRN-CNP, is a telehealth provider specializing in family medicine.
Every visit with every patient is important to her. “I care for my patients as if I am providing care to my own family,” she says. “I adopted the phrase, ‘What can I do to make your day better?’ for my patients because I want to have a positive impact on them in any way possible.”
Lisa’s enthusiasm for caring for others started at an early age. “I became interested in health care at the age of 15 when I became a caregiver for my mother,” she said. “While spending a lot of time in both inpatient and outpatient settings with her, it occurred to me that I had a heart for caring for others.”
Lisa is passionate about helping patients at nearly every age get healthy and stay healthy. “I provide care for patients from shortly after their birth and beyond,” she says. “Family medicine is heavily focused on prevention, which is vital for everyone. Being healthy starts with you. Together, we can implement an individualized plan which incorporates a healthy diet, exercise and other preventive measures.” She reiterates to her patients that “ultimately, your health has to be a priority to you.”
Lisa’s personal interests include watching her kids play sports, reading and spending time with her family at the lake. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. Lisa welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
