Dustin Rosenhamer, M.D., is board certified in neurology. He has cared for patients in Oklahoma since 2011. His care philosophy is simple and practical. “By keeping both the mind and body strong, you can have the best chance of living a happy and healthy life,” he said.
While Dr. Rosenhamer is particularly skilled in the areas of memory care, stroke and epilepsy, he welcomes the opportunity to help you with any neurology-related concerns.
His career in health care started with an unfortunate childhood event. He broke both arms and spent an entire summer in arm casts. “My doctor and his staff showed me compassionate care during my frequent visits,” he said, and he now carries that compassion forward. “Caring for your most prized possession, your health, is a huge responsibility and one I am honored to be trusted with.”
Neurological care is a passion of Dr. Rosenhamer’s. “The human neurological system is complex and complicated with new discoveries being made all the time,” he said. “Understanding it and learning about new breakthroughs fascinates me. The opportunity to share effective therapies with my patients energizes me.”
While prescriptions are a part of neurology, the care that Dr. Rosenhamer provides goes beyond that. “I’ll focus on educating you on not only your prescribed medications, but also on alternative and functional ways you can keep your mind and body healthy.”
Dr. Rosenhamer received a Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater in 1999. He earned his medical degree from St. George’s University in Grenada in 2007. He completed his residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston in 2011.
Prior to joining Utica Park Clinic, he was the owner of Mind & Body Clinic in Edmond, Oklahoma. He was also the consulting neurologist at two nearby hospitals.
Dr. Rosenhamer’s personal interests include traveling, reading comics and spending time with his dogs.
Dr. Rosenhamer welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans. His office is located on the Hillcrest Hospital South campus in the SouthCreek Medical Plaza buidling at:

Dr. Rosenhamer is wonderful, after 4 years misdiagnosed from the previous provider. He was able to take action to order proper testing and quickly discover my proper diagnosis. He swiftly put me on innovative medical treatments to begin to care for my needs of a better quality of life. I'm truly thankful for his continued care.

I’ve had seizures since I was a kid and Dr. Rosenhammer has been the best neurologist I’ve seen since moving to adult care. I would recommend him to any one. Dr Rosenhamer actually listens and cares. My EEG tech from my pediatric days has also started working under Dr. Rosenhamer and he is also genuinely caring and compassionate, I’m not religious but when he said he would pray for me, it made me feel like he truly cared. Dr. Rosenhamer isn’t condescending like some other Dr.’s I’ve seen. The only complaints I have is that the hours online need to be updated as they close at 3pm on Friday and it has caused some inconvenience when trying to get ahold of them. He is also not in office on Friday so any med changes have to wait until the following Monday. It was also disappointing when I called to report negative side affects from a new medication the nurse asked if “I would be able to ‘deal with it’ ”. The medication made me feel drunk, which I couldn’t just ‘deal with’ especially during the day at work. However he did take me off that medication which I was thankful for but honestly I think the main factor taken into account was that I wasn’t able to afford it since it only comes in brand name and side effects were just kinda glossed over.

I took my 89 year old aunt in yesterday to see Dr. Rosenhamer for the first time. She had been experiencing some headaches and the onset of dementia. We were also accompanied by my 89 year old uncle. Dr. Rosenhamer was amazing! He took his time with us and was very thorough with her evaluation. He explained everything in a way that they could understand. He went over every new medication that he was starting and all the labs that he needed to order. I highly recommend him if you need a neurologist. He is a kind, compassionate man. also asked if we had any questions for him.

Very patient oriented. Informal. Found my MS when another neurologist refused to perform an MRI/LP etc. as is usual care. I like this dude.

I left Dr Rosenhamer’s office in tears. Not because I was upset or angry, it was because for the first time in almost 18 years I felt like I was heard and that he actually cared about me. When you have restless legs so bad that you can’t ride in a car or sleep with your husband, finding a doctor who actually understood and immediately did tests, read my MRI results, and did more at my appointment than I have had done by other neurologist I’ve seen. If you need to see a neurologist and can get in to see Dr Rosenhamer, PLEASE, do yourself a favor and make the appointment. You won’t regret it. I PROMISE!
