Emily Donaldson, APRN-CNP, practices pulmonary and critical care for Utica Park Clinic at Hillcrest Medical Center. “Working in critical care is a passion of mine,” she says. “Life is a precious gift; being able to care for and meet the needs of the most critically ill patients is a blessing and I'm grateful for that opportunity.”
“I am committed to providing safe, compassionate, patient-centered care specific to each patient's health care needs and desired outcomes,” she continues. “One of my goals is to help improve each patient’s quality of life by promoting good, healthy habits.”
Emily’s enthusiasm for providing care began at a young age. “Ever since I was in kindergarten, I was interested in the medical field and knew I either wanted to be a nurse or doctor. I love helping people in their time of need, being there to support them and make a difference in their life.”
Emily has worked in the health care industry in northeastern Oklahoma since 2003. Prior to joining Utica Park Clinic, she cared for patients at St. John Medical Center.
Emily earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at Rogers State University in Claremore in 2011. She received a Master of Science degree in Nursing from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama in 2017. Some of the professional organizations with which she is affiliated include the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the American Nurses Association and the Oklahoma Nurses Association.
Emily’s personal interests include gardening, hiking, camping, traveling, watching OU football and spending time with her family.
