Jennifer Powers, PA-C, practices breast care and has been in the medical field since 2013. “I chose a career in health care because it married two things I love: people and medicine,” she said. When providing care, she keeps patients at the forefront of all decisions.
Jennifer has a special interest in high-risk breast patients. She chose this specialty because of a personal connection. “My family has a strong medical history of breast cancer and genetic mutations,” she said. “I hope my personal experience brings compassion that is beneficial to those I treat.”
When teaching people how to get healthy, she encourages them to start small. “Getting healthy requires taking one step at a time,” she said. “Once you make one positive change, it will lead to another.”
Jennifer received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from The University of Oklahoma in 1999. She earned a Master of Health Science degree from The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2019. Prior to joining Utica Park Clinic, Jennifer worked at Breast Surgery of Tulsa with Dr. LaNette Smith.
When she is away from the office, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family and her dogs.
