I've been seeing Dr. Else for a few years now and he is truly one of the most caring, knowledgeable, and supportive primary care providers I've met. He takes the time to listen to you and work through things with you to make sure you understand what is going on, and never makes you feel inferior. I've always had to stay informed with the latest health recommendations, since as an LGBTQ+ patient my past providers hadn't kept up with newest recommendations for my community and I had to advocate for myself. But with Dr. Else, in our first few visits I learned so much and he showed he had clearly done his research and kept up with the newest data on treating the LGBTQ+ community. It is clear that he is a patient advocate. He also takes your complaints seriously and suggests actual solutions or testing instead of just blaming it on other conditions and not addressing it. His communication is top-tier and he makes you feel validated in your concerns, all without judgement, which is honestly hard to find in the healthcare field in my experience. I no longer dread going to primary care visits, and actually look forward to them because I feel like I walk away feeling better and more knowledgeable about my health. His team and support staff is also great and are just like him. Establish care with Dr. Else, you won't regret it!

I just started seeing Dr Else as my PCP, and I can already tell that he will far exceed my expectations of any Dr I’ve had in the past. My labs were drawn the day of the visit and resulted the same day. He then was able to comment on each individual lab and tell me what was good or needed to change in order to correct the labs in the same day! I’ve been to approximately 2 dozen various doctors ranging from DOs, MDs and Specialists. I’ve not once felt I’ve been heard and / or listened to with the intent of curing my chronic health issues. I’m confident you won’t get a doctor that listens better than Dr Else. I’ve seen him twice so far, so still fairly new - but he was personable. He made eye contact and I really felt listened to. I feel comfortable that I’ve the best chance at medical relief through Dr Else. Again, another rarity. Incredible experience. I was very nervous to see a new doctor. There was a lot of anxiety wrapped around me just making my 1st appointment let alone showing up for it. Dr. Else absolutely put me at ease the moment he walked in. Very kind, patient, understanding, knowledgeable, thorough and passionate about helping. When I had something to say or ask, he truly listened and I genuinely felt he heard me and wanted to help me. Dr. Else took his time to work with me to create a plan that I was comfortable with for my future needs. He made sure I had what I needed for immediate relief as well as long term and he is also looking out for other precautionary items I hadn’t thought about. He is very hands on with his patient’s health and experience in his office. I witnessed and also experienced him escorting patients from one place to another, answering questions, etc.. A lot of things/situations that could be handled by any staff member, he takes upon himself to help rather than put off on someone else. Dr. Else has been the best doctor I've worked with. He takes the time to answer and explain in detail. I think many of us are unsure of what our results mean or what type of tests we should take when we feel there is something wrong with our bodies. Dr. Else will explain what each test means and what we should do to help in a certain area or if something is normal and no action is needed. He answers all of my messages quickly, and often before I expect an answer (usually within a couple hours). The time he has taken to discuss issues and questions is unparalleled to what I have received in the past. You can tell he cares, but also that he is well educated and intelligent. He's the best!

There are issues though, they keep Drs so busy anymore that appointments are scheduled weeks out and you are expected by those at the front desk to be happy to see a PA instead. Let’s see a Doctor that’s been to school for 12 years or a PA who’s been for a couple years??? I’ve had legitimate issues seeing the PA with misdiagnosis. I think the real problem is the healthcare system - too many bean counters and not enough healthcare professionals for one thing
