He Is absolutely amazing. Went In with chronic low back and hip pain. Dr. Kahn looked over my imaging and put together a plan of action. He was so polite and spoke to me and explained it so I left there knowing I am seeing the right doctor.

Doctor Kahn was personable and kind. All information was conveyed clearly. I have some decisions to make. I have concerns about using the ALIF procedure as it’s very invasive just to approach the spine. Dr Kahn partners with a vascular surgeon to approach the spine from an anterior position. I am confident that he’s competent and has done this procedure hundreds of times but boy is it scary using this approach. If I determine that I want to accept the risk I’ll go back and work with dr Kahn. Everything was good and my gut tells me this is a man you could trust. Friends have given glowing reviews of the work done by Dr Kahn and their surgeries yielded great results. He has referred me to pain management and has ordered PT; now in my third week. The guys at Kaiser rehab are top notch. I appreciate the attempt @ conservative therapies and solutions first. Many surgeons are all but too happy to do surgery. Can’t really blame them it’s what they do. But dr Kahn is exhausting other options first. This is good. If I decide to do the suggested ALIF procedure and have an acceptable outcome he’ll get the 5 star, if we snip the aorta and I meet St Peter I’ll tell the wife to reduce to a 3 star.

January 27th I was diagnosed by the Muskogee VA emergency room that I had broken my neck, was taken by ambulance to St John's trauma in Tulsa they said it wasn't broken and two days later was finally able to leave there after threatening to go ama. I have been dealing with the Muskogee VA trying to get appointments for civilian doctors, as the VA does not do neck surgery, long story short just off the phone with Dr Khan's referral specialist a young woman named t a y, she spent an hour on the phone with me really busting herself to straighten out government paperwork issues and I now have an appointment February 14th. My pain level is 10 plus at present and has been since the 27th of January. T a y thank you thank you thank you your compassion and the time you spent with me and everything you did greatly surpasses Muskogee VA St John's and one other that I don't want to mention in assisting me to get the emergency surgery that the one I didn't want to mention said I needed immediately again today thank you you're a good person my best regards John b

I saw Dr Khan in 2010 and found out I needed extensive back surgery ( sacrum missing) He even sent my chiropractor my scans and talked with him on the phone and chiropractor agreed. My surgery was quite extensive but it kept me walking. Dr K made no promises he couldn’t keep. He was caring and compassionate through the whole process and after. After years of leg pain I consulted my GP who sent me immediately to Dr Khan after viewing my MRI. Dr Khan consulted with me and we began least invasive treatments first. Those treatments did not work for me and on September 29, 2020, Dr Khan performed surgery on my back, the source of my pain. He corrected L2 through L5 and stabilized my back with rods and screws. I was rid of the leg pain the next day! After six months of healing I have my life back. I would and do recommend Dr Khan to anyone I know that has back issues. He and his staff are professional, respectful, and caring!

Dr. Kahn repaired my neck after I was having debilitating attacks across my chest and down my arms. I was unable to drive before the surgery due to the attacks. I had 2 vertebras that had collapsed and were putting pressure on a nerve. It took 6 weeks in a neck brace but I am pain free and no more attacks! He is Amazing!

I went into the Er with back pain and saddle numbness. I saw Dr. Khan the next day, and he told me I had Caudia equina. That I needed surgery immediately. He was very informative and I was in the OR 2 hours later. After being released from the hospital I my saddle numbness came back and worsened. He performed exploratory surgery found some fluid but nothing pushing on my nerves. After being released the second time my symptoms worsened for a bit due to swelling after surgery, my anxiety was through the roof. I messaged his PA Kristen over and over and she responded very quickly on weekends, late at night. Dr khan called me multiple times to check on me told me it was anxiety, and my symptoms are going to come and go for a bit. He was right numbness in my feet got better my legs are getting stronger every day. If he ever gives up on being a surgeon he should look into being a psychiatrist he is very knowledgeable, honest, comforting. Dr Khan and Kristen are amazing.

The operating room nurse (I believe) assured us right before surgery that he's worked with many surgeons, that Dr. Kahn really takes his time, and that we were in good hands.
