Julio Novelo, M.D., FACP, FCCP, specializes in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Utica Park Clinic (UPC) on the campus of Hillcrest Medical Center (HMC). His professional areas of interest include pulmonary, internal and critical care medicine.
Dr. Novelo comes to Hillcrest with more than 20 years of experience. He has provided care in places like Mexico, Florida, Texas and most recently, New York. He is no stranger to Tulsa and says he is happy to be back and to work with UPC.
Dr. Novelo is a member of the Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP) and the Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP). He enjoys medical research and has several published pieces and some ongoing.
Outside of work, Dr. Novelo enjoys soccer, diving, outdoor activities, snorkeling, fishing, dog competitions and playing saxophone.
