Christopher Webber, APRN-CNP, cares for hospitalized pulmonary and critical care patients. He has been in medicine since 2007. “I began my career in health care at age 17 when I started working as a nurse aid in a small rural hospital in Oklahoma,” he said. “I grew in my knowledge and training every day that I came into work.”
Mr. Webber worked in a critical care unit while in nursing school. At that time, he decided to focus on this specialty. “I pursued a career in health care, specifically nursing, to best serve the needs of acutely ill patients. Providing high-quality, empathetic medical care and educating patients are the core of my care philosophy.”
In 2020, Mr. Webber spent two months in Chicago, Illinois working as a bedside nurse in the intensive care unit (ICU) during the peak of the pandemic to care for COVID-19 patients.
Mr. Webber received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma in 2009. He received a Master of Science degree in nursing from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2015. He earned a post-master’s certificate in adult gerontology acute care from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2021.
When he is away from the office, Mr. Webber enjoys spending time with his wife and two dogs, playing ice hockey, rock climbing, playing music and roasting coffee.
