Andrew Prince, D.O., is board certified and fellowship-trained in pulmonary (breathing) and critical care medicine. He got into health care because he wants to make a difference in people’s lives. He finds pulmonary and critical care to be difficult but rewarding. “It challenges me mentally on a daily basis,” he says. “Working with people that have breathing difficulties makes me feel like I’m providing a genuine impact.”
When treating pulmonary and critical care patients, Dr. Prince uses an evidence-based approach. “Although the pulmonary and critical care field has quite a bit of artistic interpretation, I rely on evidence while also remaining centered on the patient,” he says. “I then create a treatment plan that is tailored to each individual person.”
Dr. Prince received a Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma State University in 2009. He earned a medical degree from the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2013. He completed an internal medicine residency and pulmonary and critical care fellowship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2016 and 2019, respectively. Dr. Prince is a member of the American Thoracic Society and the American Society of Chest Physicians.
Dr. Prince’s personal interests include running, reading, being outside and spending time with family.

I met Dr. Prince when I was hospitalized for a case of pneumonia. I can honestly say in my mind he saved my life, for that I am grateful. At that time I had no Pulmonologist, so I asked him if he would take me on as a new patient, he said yes. This man has the best bedside manner you could ask for in a doctor, is simple and to the point and makes sure you understand what he is telling you. Yes he talks 'doctor talk' but he'll turn right around and translate it to layman's language. The best all around doctor, one of the wisest decisions I've ever made having him as my doctor...!

Receptionist and the nurse were very cordial very helpful. Dr. Prince was straightforward and to the point I felt like you went over my chart before I met him and listen to what I had to say. I like Dr. Prince very much.

I think DR Prince is great. He takes the time to talk to you and actually listens to what you say. He makes you feel comfortable. He tells you your options and gives his opinion, then allows you to make the final decision. I wish all physicians were more like him
