Joshua Solomon, APRN-CNP, has practiced medicine since 2015. He specializes in general surgery. Mr. Solomon places emphasis on trust. “Building a trusting relationship with my patients and their loved ones is very important to me,” he said. “I am committed to providing safe, holistic, patient-centered care.”
Mr. Solomon knew he wanted to pursue a career in health care from a young age. “I started my health care journey by taking advanced pathophysiology classes my sophomore year in high school,” he said. “It was then I realized I loved science and medicine.”
When teaching patients how to stay healthy, Mr. Solomon advises simple steps. “Being healthy is all about making the right choices everyday with diet, exercise and health screenings,” he said. “Being able to have a great quality of life and enjoy the things you love to do is invaluable.”
Mr. Solomon received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Rogers State University in Claremore in 2015. He earned an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree from The University of South Alabama in 2020. Prior to joining Utica Park Clinic, Mr. Solomon worked as a nurse at Hillcrest Health Care System.
When he is away from the office, Mr. Solomon enjoys spending time with his family and son, hunting, fishing, backpacking and being outdoors.
Mr. Solomon cares for hospitalized patients at Hillcrest Medical Center at 1120 S. Utica Ave. in Tulsa.
