Saura Douglas, PA-C, practices orthopedics and has worked in the health care industry in Oklahoma since 2011.
She has had an interest in working in the medical field since she was young and enjoys working with the public. A career as a physician assistant (PA) has allowed her to practice both of her passions. “The specific role of a PA lets me care for patients at the top level and bridges the gap between patients and physicians,” she says.
She believes in thoroughly educating her patients on their specific condition in order to improve their quality of life. “Patients heal, improve and function better long-term when they are well informed on their condition and are involved in the care plan,” she says.
Saura graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. She earned a master of health science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Oklahoma in Tulsa in 2013.
She is a member of the Oklahoma Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Saura’s personal interests include spending time with family, exercising, attending sporting events, traveling and going to concerts.
Saura welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans. Her office is located on the campus of Hillcrest Hospital South at:

For those of us with aches and pains and questions and we need someone who will actually answer all our questions and give us the time of day....I highly recommend seeing Saura. She really helped me understand what was going on, took time to go over my x-rays, answered all of my questions, and made a follow-up plan. The only negative (which wasn't her fault) was a long wait, as this office was full to the hilt with patients. But I understand why after seeing her. Those of us who want and need good medical care and advice as we get older need more people like her on our side.
