Devyn DeLaney, APRN-CNP, specializes in palliative care. Her background in oncology led to her current position. “I witnessed firsthand the positive impact that palliative medicine made on my patients with cancer diagnoses and their families," she said. "I knew I wanted to be a part of that.”
Ms. DeLaney spent five years working in both inpatient and outpatient oncology in Louisiana and Florida. Since moving to Oklahoma, she has worked with patients receiving home hospice care. Ms. DeLaney’s patients receive comprehensive care from assessments and physical exams to treatment plans and symptom management.
Ms. DeLaney earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing in 2015. She completed a master’s degree in nursing at the University of South Alabama in 2020. Ms. DeLaney is board certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
When Ms. DeLaney is not tending to the needs of her patients, she can be found spending her free time outdoors going camping, hiking or riding her bike to the Gathering Place.
